Digital is Overrated

This roll was shot using some old European camera my dad let me use for my photography class. I'm still learning so some of it is underexposed, out of focus, etc. Now Harlan is 2 months old and 13 lbs! He smiles a lot and he's starting to coo. Mike and I recently planted 2 vegetable gardens, we already have rhubarb, lettuce and beets coming up. Still waiting for carrots, potatoes, zucchini, squash and pumpkins. The weather has been beautiful but we could use more rain. Grandpa and Grandma Barnes were in town for Memorial Day weekend; we barbecued and drove up to Taylor Reservoir. My brother, Alex, came in from Durango a few days later and Harlan got to meet his only uncle! I think he'll do a good job.

Six Weeks Old now!

Well he hasn't been to the doctor in weeks so we aren't sure how much Harlan weighs, but he sure looks great! He's learning how to smile and he sure hasa great time keeping us up at night. Not too much, though.His model face

Settling In

The last of the Logan grandparents left today (grandma). The Barnes's will be here until Friday. Mike has to go back to work tomorrow, but we're looking forward to our weekend together, just the three of us! Harlan is doing great, getting more alert every day and staying awake for longer periods of time. He's on the tail end of a 3 and a half hour nap right now, I need to wake him up and feed him soon. We're getting take-out from Garlic Mike's tonight, my favorite! All the hard work really pays off. Here's some more pictures!

Harlan Friday Barnes: 7 lbs 5 oz 21 inches. Born Thursday April 3 at 10:02pm via C-Section. Happy, healthy and adorable!

I thought I was Huge!

Here are some pictures I found that my dad emailed me. Some are from October-ish, the others are Thanksgiving. I thought I was so big, how funny! Now it's just ridiculous. To all of you holding your breath for the big day... you can relax. My Doctor said I can anticipate going at least until my due date. He's happy where he is I guess, enjoying life on the inside. Mike and I are trying to enjoy our last "free" days, but I'm naturally a very impatient person.
